Tai Chi is a graceful, moving meditation that originated in ancient China. It is practiced to develop health, harmony, and self defence abilities.

The classes will be mainly concentrating on the Chen style of Tai Chi as taught by Master Wang Hai Jun. Chen Tai Chi is considered by many to be the oldest surviving style.

The practice is very versatile and the slow balanced movements make it suitable for older people. It can also be done in a more robust way suitable for the young and fit.

Standard Class structure: 25 -35 mins of warm up exercises including Chi Gung, Silk Reeling and standing practice. 45 - 50 mins of form work - classes split according to ability. 5 mins of closing Chi Gung.
